Just over a year ago, the Hague weekly market took place for the first time in the Weißpark/Open-Air Museum. After a little more than a year, market suppliers and the organization team are celebrating their first birthday on Saturday, October 21st. “We are happy about the good acceptance of the market by the population, the market organizers are very satisfied with the market events,” say the organizers led by spokeswoman Silvia Schaumberger as well as Peter Schweinschwaller and Gerhard Stubauer from the Hague City Marketing Association.

The culinary offering ranges from bread and pastries to fruit, vegetables, meat products, cheese, jams and liqueurs to items that are “exotic” for the Mostviertel such as lemons, oranges, Italian pasta or baklava. Gift items, handicrafts and flowers are also available. Once a month there is also a wine dealer, a survival trainer and an animal feed stand on site, and food and beer from Haager Braugut are also offered.

At the birthday party on Saturday there will be live music from the Hague City Band, a goat petting zoo and tours of the open-air museum.
