Sovereign securities in pesos such as those linked to Indexed Units and in dollars had declines.
Uruguayan global bonds, both those in Dollars, in pesos like in Indexed Units (UI)recorded a general decline compared to last week, according to the AFAP Weekly Monitor of the Republic; However, some raised and lowered the country risk and the sovereign spread.
The global bonds Sovereign debt in dollars all had a general decrease, reaching up to 3.90%. The bonds that fell the least were the 2024, 2025 and 2027 titles with a fall of 0.05%, 0.10% and 0.45%, respectively. For their part, bonds 2031 and 20333 had a fall of 1.10% and 2.14% respectively.
Meanwhile, the bonds for 2036 and 2045 had a negative variation of 2.09% and 3.9%, while the Bond Indexed to Climate Indicators (BIIC) to 2034, a variation of -1.86%. Those that also suffered a significant drop are the 2050 and 2055 bonds, which had decreases of 3.81% and 3.77%, respectively.
As for the Indexed Unit bonds, the only ones that did not suffer changes were those from 2028 – which remained stable – while 2030 had an increase of 0.12%. Meanwhile, the titles of 2027, 2037 and 2040 had a decrease of 0.12%, 0.87% 7 0.93%, respectively.
What refers to the bonds in Uruguayan pesos, two out of three perceived falls. The titles of 2031 had a decrease of 0.16% and that of 2033 a depression of 0.10%. For its part, the 2028 title had an increase of 0.26%
The sovereign spread that measures country risk with its Uruguay Bond Index (UBI) fell 2 basis points to 72 bps.
Meanwhile, the country risk calculated by República AFAP for these securities (IBI), which measures the average spread between the yield of bonds issued in UI by the Uruguayan State and the yield of the TIPS (Treasury Inflation Protected Securities) of the government of USAfell 9 basis points and stood at 96 bps.
