Some of the thefts took place months ago – according to the police, the 34-year-old stole eight high-priced perfumes from three Linz drugstores between the end of July and October. Yesterday, Wednesday, the suspect’s apartment was searched and an arrest warrant and a search warrant were issued. Crime clothing and cannabis were confiscated in the apartment. The Ukrainian was arrested.
The 34-year-old confessed, named his accomplices and stated that his motive was cocaine addiction. He was transferred to the Linz prison.
