WHO lost contact with its staff in the Gaza Strip
In parallel to the protest on North American soil, the World Health Organization (WHO) confirmed the loss of contact with its personnel who are in the Gaza Strip.
“We have lost contact with our staff in Gaza, with health facilities, health workers and the rest of our humanitarian partners on the ground,” the director wrote. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus on his social network account X (ex Twitter) regarding the situation in the enclave, where the Hamas government has confirmed the death of more than 7,300 people in the three weeks since the Israeli attacks, considered war crimes by the UN.

“We are deeply concerned about the situation in Gaza. We have lost contact with some of our Palestinian colleagues on the ground,” the organization said through the same social network.
