“No football, no religion, no politics” – that is the slogan issued by Alexander Barbier (47), the new tenant of the Badcafé in Linz’s old town. Because the time of previous tenant Alexandra Pervulesko, who became known as the “angry landlord” and opponent of pandemic measures, is long over.

On Friday, November 3rd, Barbier will open “his” bathroom café at 6 p.m. The traditional address for Old Town fans, Badgasse 7, will be open Wednesday to Saturday from 4 p.m. to midnight. There is live music every Friday.
Like in Barbier’s second bar “Alex” just around the corner at Hofgasse 11, there should be affordable prices as well as Freistadt beer and an atmosphere in which even girls feel comfortable. Barbier cooks delicacies in a Rex glass especially for the Badcafé.
