Uruguayan meat will have its own brand in the world

This is “Uruguay Meats”, the new visual identity with which the main national export product will be recognized internationally.

The Uruguayan meats They will have a new brand, with their own visual identity, to be disseminated in different markets around the world quickly and easily: “Uruguay Meats” will be presented in the coming days, in Shanghai.

China will be the stage for the presentation of “Uruguay Meats”, the new brand that will encompass all meat production, an iconic product and representative of the Uruguayan identity, in the foreign market, as confirmed by the National Meat Institute (INAC).

The launch of the sector brand will be in CIIE Fair in Shanghai, between November 5 and 10, where the INAC will have a stand of almost 260 square meters, with meat tasting in the Restaurant and tasting on the go. The chosen scenario is not coincidental: China is the main buyer of beef and giblets measured in volume; and continues to be a very important partner for local producers.

This presentation will also have the presence of the president Luis Lacalle Pouwho will be on an official tour of the Asian country with the aim of unblocking trade agreements—particularly, the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) bilateral—with what was Uruguay’s main economic partner until just a few months ago.

A new identity

The brand “Uruguay Meats” has the definitions by species for Beef, Lamb, Pork and Poultry. This new visual construction will allow us to leverage the country brand and achieve greater synergy between export sectors. In addition, it will be accompanied by Green Quality seal that defines Uruguayan meats as a sector and add value to promotion abroad.

In parallel with the new identity, a new website that incorporates content in Spanish, English and Chinese on the quality of meats produced in Uruguay, the culture of the livestock country and the main attributes of the production systems; as well as the cuts of meat, their manuals to identify them, recipes and gastronomy tips. Emphasis will also be placed on the contribution to health, human nutrition and sustainable nutrition in harmony with the planet. The brand will allow us to establish a presence throughout the world in a unified way.
