But for the logistics of the Red Cross market in Kremsmünster, vouchers are better in order to cover the needs of customers below the poverty line. The Kremsmünster farming community therefore collected money at an agape at the Thanksgiving festival and converted the proceeds of 460 euros into voucher cards. Birgit Bergmaier and Michaela and Walter Öllinger from the farmers presented the vouchers to the Red Cross. The Red Cross helpers purchase the products shown on the cards in regular stores and then sell them to socially needy customers in the Red Cross market at a symbolic price.
