At around 11 a.m. on Thursday, the cyclist from the Gmunden district was traveling in Gschwandt when she collided with the car of a 40-year-old, also from the district, at an intersection.
The 87-year-old was seriously injured in the collision and subsequent fall. After receiving emergency medical treatment, she had to be flown to the hospital in the Martin 3 rescue helicopter.
