Because communities are continually expanding their childcare offerings, there is a shortage of staff in kindergartens, play-care centers and after-school care centers.
These professions can be learned at the Don Bosco Schools in Vöcklabruck. There are three types of schools in Vöcklabruck:
The five year olds educational institution for elementary education ends with a high school diploma and diploma examination for group leading educators and also includes practical weeks.
One three-year technical school for educational assistant professions offers young people a career perspective if they enjoy working with children but are not (for now) aiming for a high school diploma. You can then also attend an advanced course and catch up on your Matura.
And finally there is also one part-time evening college for elementary education. The next course starts here in September 2024.
