With two rounds to go, Rohrbach-Berg is only one point behind leaders Donau Linz in the Regional League East. However, the Kleinmunich team played one more game and were free to play on the last match day. The Rohrbachers will host second-to-last Admira Linz tomorrow at 4 p.m. and want to extend their unbeaten streak to ten games. “Admira are on par in most games and they are always good for a surprise, as the win against Oedt shows, but we want to continue our run and are looking forward to the game,” says Rohrbach-Berg’s coach Christian Eisschiel.
He is very satisfied with the first half of the season: “But there are still two important rounds to play, we want to get through it now.” With two wins, the autumn championship title would be secure. On the last matchday of the first half of the season, the second-placed team will go to Naarn. In the North District League, the autumn championship title has already been awarded to Eferding, but there are a few contenders for second place behind them. The third Julbach will meet the second Freistadt tomorrow. On Sunday there will be a duel between Oepping and newly promoted Haslach. Both are still within striking distance of second place.
In the Upper Austrian League, SPG Pregarten is trying to return to winning ways at home against Dietach tomorrow after losing 2-0 in the derby against Perg. St. Martin (against Edelweiss Linz) and Bad Leonfelden (against Mondsee) also play in front of their own audience. Perg is a guest in Bad Schallerbach.
