If you want to buy Christmas presents in time, you shouldn’t miss the Martini market in Steinerkirchen. Around 120 artisans from Austria and neighboring countries will offer their creations for sale there on Saturday, November 4th, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sunday, November 5th, until 5 p.m. The market is one of the most traditional and largest craft markets in Austria and attracts around 15,000 visitors every year. The old village square with the over 100-year-old school and the inner courtyard of the Benedictine monastery give the market its special flair. Jewelry, textiles, nativity scenes, Advent decorations, handmade soaps, wood turning work and much more are presented. Old crafts can also be experienced again. Attractions for children include the goose enclosure and the cute alpacas. Entry: 5 euros.
