A 44-year-old found him in a field near her home at 2 a.m. and alerted the police. The drunkard was seriously injured and was taken to the hospital, the police reported on Sunday.
Collapsed on field
The 64-year-old was only able to speak again on Sunday and stated that he was walking home after a visit to the pub when three men attacked him. They hit him, kicked him and demanded his wallet. When he did not hand them over, they beat him again and ran away. The 64-year-old tried to walk further but collapsed on the field. The investigation was still ongoing.
