A 29-year-old was traveling almost twice as fast as permitted on the Pyhrnautobahn in the direction of Graz on Saturday afternoon. The measuring device of the Klaus motorway police officers, who carried out speed measurements at Sattledt (Wels-Land district) in the 100 km/h limit, showed 195 km/h. The Romanian woman, who lives in the Kirchdorf district, had to temporarily hand over her driver’s license, the police said on Sunday evening.

This weekend, an 18-year-old was traveling far faster than permitted between Bad Goisern and Bad Ischl (Gmunden district): The local disregarded the police stop signs and fled along the B145 at up to 180 km/h. While escaping, he also rammed a patrol car and was ultimately arrested.
