St. Florian: Carport in full fire – smoking oven suspected to be the cause

Shortly before midnight there was a fire brigade operation in St. Florian near Linz. A carport was completely engulfed in fire in the town of Tillysburg.

When the fire department arrived, the carport was already fully ablaze. The owner who made the emergency call was just spraying down his sailing ship, which was parked next to the carport, with a garden hose to prevent the flames from spreading.

More than 40 firefighters from the fire departments in Bruck-Hausleiten, Rohrbach and St. Florian-Markt were able to prevent anything worse from happening. The fire was brought under control relatively quickly.
