The reigning Austrian champion in this discipline showed a great performance in the home race at the leisure facility in Wimpassing and secured victory in a convincing manner: Starting from 25th place, he worked his way up to sixth place in the first lap and then took over Lead and won the race with a clear lead after an hour of racing. “I got better and better as the race went on and I’m really pleased with my success,” said Federspiel at the finish.
