A drug deal probably went wrong on Sunday evening at Frunpark in Asten (Linz-Land district), which resulted in a robbery. The police confirmed this in an OÖN interview in the evening. The background was still obscure for the time being. According to initial information, a weapon may have been involved. An alarm search was still underway around 9 p.m. Heavily armed police with helmets, protective vests and assault rifles were positioned at critical points in the area from Asten to Linz and Steyr and controlled traffic.
