The 68-year-old disappeared from the district senior citizens’ home on Friday afternoon around 2:45 p.m. Her disappearance was noticed around 6 p.m. and the police were immediately called. After a local search was unsuccessful, the search was expanded and police drones and service dogs were used. There were also around 60 people from the Bad Hall, Pfarrkirchen and Adlwang fire departments, 20 rescue workers, several police patrols and members of the rescue dog brigade.

After a walker belonging to the missing person was found in the Bad Hall area, the search was narrowed down. At around 11.30 p.m., the 68-year-old was found hypothermic but, given the circumstances, in good health on a park bench in Bad Hall. The woman was given first aid by the emergency doctor and taken to the hospital.
