As several media reports, this is about to come to an end: Robert Klauß is to take over the record champions, who are currently only in eighth place.

The 38-year-old German learned his trade at RB Leipzig under the current ÖFB team boss Ralf Rangnick. His only previous position as head coach was second division club Nuremberg. Klauß had to vacate his place with the Franconians a year ago after 82 games.
As we learned, the club and coach agreed. The final contract details are still pending, as is a confirmation from the club (Monday lunchtime).
After the international break, Rapid continues with the home game on Sunday against Blau-Weiß Linz.
