They are said to have looked deceptively real. Those criminal mandates with which a police officer from the Vöcklabruck district is said to have built a sideline. As the ORF Upper Austria reports, an officer is said to have drawn up traffic tickets himself and used them on duty. This meant that the police had no records of fines collected. At the end of October, the man was released from duty and the Federal Anti-Corruption Office is investigating.
It is not known how much money the officer, who was apparently assigned to heavy traffic, collected in this way. The police officer is presumed innocent and the investigation is still ongoing.
