From the 2024/25 school year, the Ort der Kreuz Sisters (“Pensi”) high school in Gmunden will become a campus in which several educational institutions will merge (kindergarten, elementary school, after-school care, AHS).
The course is already being set in terms of personnel. Eva Zacherl, the new managing director of the Cross Sisters school association since June, presented yesterday Wolfgang Karrer as the new principal of the high school. The 41-year-old replaces Wolfgang Kurz, who led the high school through a difficult phase. (The location should be closed.) At his own request, Kurz would like to fully pursue his calling as a teacher again.
The future director Wolfgang Karrer studied business education at the Johannes Kepler University, taught sports management, business information systems and business administration in Switzerland for a long time and is currently teaching at the BHAK/BHAS Ried.
The future campus location will be presented for the first time on December 1st at an open day from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
