Milk shipment increased 2% year-on-year

During October, the volume of raw milk collected in the dairy farms and received in industrial plants for processing 221.07 million liters, 2% more than in October 2022, and with an average fat content of 3.87% and protein of 3.51%.

The volume of milk sent in the month of October was the highest so far this year, surpassing the annual record of September, when 207.72 million liters were sent.

In turn, in the accumulated amount up to October, some 1,732 million liters of raw milkthat is, 1% more than what was at this time of the year in 2022. For its part, in the last 12 months, the variation was also 1% compared to the same period of the previous year, with 2,106 million liters sent.

The price of dairy milk recovered slightly

The price of the milk in dairy (with reliquidations attributable to the month) it recovered slightly in the month of October compared to September, going from 14.13 pesos per liter to 14.49 pesos per liter.

However, measured in dollars, the price of milk in tambo fell from 0.37 dollars in September to 0.37 dollars during the last month, taking an exchange rate of 38.15 pesos and 39.95 pesos, respectively.

On the other hand, the price of kilos of solids with reliquidations it was 190.8 pesos per kilo during October, while in September it had been 183.6 pesos per kilo.
