In an interview with OÖN, owner Bettina Winter explained: “But we want to continue. There will probably be a final decision at the beginning of next year, but things are looking pretty good.”
The fact that bankruptcy has now occurred is a residual effect of the pandemic years. Discussions are currently underway to ensure the continued existence of the company, said Winter when asked by the Welser Zeitung. By mid-January it will probably be clear what will happen next.
A Benetton store in Wels had to file for bankruptcy in 2018, after which Bettina Winter opened her store as a franchisee at the same location.
