The 43-year-old and her husband are scheduled to testify before the Leipzig regional court on Tuesday morning, the court announced on Friday. At the beginning of October 2021, Ofarim made serious allegations of anti-Semitism against the manager of a Leipzig hotel in an Instagram video.

The musician is said to have said, according to the singer, that he should take off his Star of David and only then could he check in. However, after extensive investigations by the public prosecutor’s office, charges were brought against Ofarim himself. The case against the hotel manager was dropped.
According to a court spokesman, Biedermann was not in the hotel, but was said to have had contact with Ofarim shortly afterwards.
