The use of the term “bro”, common among young Americans, helped the group of confined students to decide to flee through the school windows.
The images show them walking through a snowy garden until they reach another building where there were police officers.
The shooter, a 15-year-old boy whose identity was not revealed, is not cooperating with the authorities.
The sheriff’s office reported that the deceased were all minors: a 16-year-old boy and two 14 and 17-year-old girls.
And among the injured, six were in stable condition, while the remaining two would undergo surgery.
The alleged perpetrator was arrested and a pistol confiscated, but no explanation was given as to the motive for the attack. Authorities said there was no resistance during the arrest and that the suspect requested a lawyer.
