Earlier, a source close to Hamas said the movement informed the mediators that they were willing to extend the truce and “ensure release of 20 to 40 Israeli prisoners” more than the 50 agreedaccording to the AFP agency.
Netanyahu confirmed that there are intentions to extend the truce with the aim of releasing 10 hostages for each day of war break: “There is an agreement plan that provides for the release of 10 hostages for each additional day of truce“said the Israeli prime minister in communication with the president of United States, Joe Biden.
