“To avoid infections and further spread, masks are a safe protection. People with risk factors in particular should take this into account. We recommend that you, but also everyone else, be vaccinated against Covid-19 and against influenza. Washing your hands is also important,” emphasized the doctor in a broadcast from the ÖGK. A total of 297,000 people reported sick to the ÖGK with a variety of illnesses or injuries in the previous week.
