Truce agreement for prisoner release between Hamas and Israel extended
With the recently announced operation, there are already 69 Israeli hostages and around 150 Palestinian prisoners released in the truce period that was originally going to last four days and has now been extended to six.
The extension of the ceasefire was confirmed by the Qatari Foreign Ministry in a message on X, and means that 10 more hostages will be released tomorrow by Hamas and 10 more on Wednesdayin exchange for the release of others 30 Palestinians prisoners in Israel.
The truce period also implies the entry of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
