Bad Ischl’s climate councilor Martin Schott (Greens) is now disappointed and criticizes the “disinterest from black and blue”. A tree protection law would have been “a simple way to give communities more control over climate protection,” he says.
In the Gmunden municipal council, the majority of the ÖVP and FPÖ rejected the adoption of the tree protection law petition.
