The emergency medical base at the Schärding Clinic was founded 30 years ago and performed its first mission on December 15, 1993. Four emergency paramedics, Andreas Ortmayr, Manfred Ludhammer, Helmut Lautner and Josef Hamedinger, have been part of the team since the emergency doctor service began. This is available at any moment to act quickly in acute, life-threatening emergencies and accidents.

A well-coordinated team works hand in hand to save lives. A total of around 1,300 missions are carried out every year. And emergency medical care should continue to be ensured in the future: “The future of the emergency doctor service in Schärding continues to look promising,” says Red Cross doctor Manuel Gahbauer. One is proud of the achievements of the past three decades.
