The starting position before the second leg on Wednesday evening (7 p.m., Volleydome Ried) between the volleyball players from UVC McDonald’s Ried and Steaua Bucharest in the European Challenge Cup is clear. The Romanians go into the game as clear favorites after their 3-1 home win (25:18, 25:13, 19:25, 25:16).

The next highlight will take place next Saturday in the Volleydome. UVC Ried celebrates its 40th anniversary during the home game against Sokol Vienna (6 p.m.). Admission to the game is free, and a colorful supporting program with a DJ, tombola and cheerleaders awaits visitors.
A junior tournament will take place from 1 p.m. After the Bundesliga game, an adult hobby tournament will take place in the hall in the evening. “We would like to use this event to say thank you to all of our fans, companions, club members, sponsors and supporters,” emphasizes UVC Ried chairman Roman Lutz.
