The German-language premiere in the Gmunden City Theater (March 22-April 21) crowns ten years of musical spring. The directors Markus Olzinger and Elisabeth-Sikora-Olzinger once again invite you to a socially relevant piece: “It is a highly emotional musical about social isolation, depression and the risk of suicide among young people,” says Elisabeth Sikora-Olzinger, who plays Evan’s mother, about the Cooperation with the Fürth City Theater. The main actor is the much sought-after interpreter Denis Riffel (28), which is why the rehearsals were brought forward: “The core of the piece has been done,” says Markus Olzinger. Ticket sales are also in full swing.
