A 57-year-old man was arrested; he is believed to have attacked the 48-year-old opponent with a knife and critically injured him. According to police, the suspect was arrested. The victim of the knife attack underwent emergency surgery in the early hours of the morning; the man’s life is in danger.
At around 3:40 a.m. the police were alerted to an argument between the two men in the stairwell of an apartment building. The officers found the seriously injured 48-year-old in the basement under the stairs. He had several stab wounds to his upper body and thigh and was barely responsive. The police officers provided first aid until the Red Cross and emergency doctors arrived. He is being treated at the LKH Graz.
At the crime scene, officers arrested the 57-year-old who lived there. He is believed to have attacked his acquaintance with a kitchen knife. The suspect, who was heavily intoxicated, denies the allegations.
