It’s been snowing in Steyr since Friday. The weight of snow on the trees repeatedly causes entire branches to break off. The clearance crews are in constant use, says local editor Martin Dunst.

The head of the local department, Manfred Wolf, reports from his garden in Leonding. Like many people in the state right now, he is busy shoveling snow and clearing away branches. There is also currently a power outage.

In Oepping in the Rohrbach district, the snow is piling up, as local editor Thomas Fellhofer shows. After the video, he went back to work in the fire department.
