The cancellation had already been announced; the strong winds forecast by the meteorologists swept across the snow-covered ski area in the US state of Colorado. This meant that the first speed race this winter failed again.
The last hopes of those responsible rest on Sunday. There will be a Super-G on the “Birds of Prey” at 6.45 p.m. CET. Of the four canceled men’s downhill runs, only one has so far been rescheduled. A race from Zermatt/Cervinia will be rescheduled in Val Gardena.
