“After family time over the holidays, the little residents of Wels can do all sorts of interesting things in the days leading up to the turn of the year,” says Deputy Mayor Gerhard Kroiß (FP).
On Wednesday and Thursday (December 27th and 28th) there will be a billiards course at Niners Billard on Stelzhamerstrasse – fun is the top priority. Young Welsers can spend a “magical afternoon” on December 28th at the Heidingerhof. From 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. there will be a winter wonderland with sheep, rabbits, homemade baked apples and Christmas fairy tales in a yurt.
In the bakery in the Chamber of Agriculture on Friday, December 29th, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., muffins, Bundt cakes and other delicacies will be made under the guidance of the seminar farmers. Also on Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. or 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., sweet lucky charms for New Year’s Eve will be decorated in the Kuchenwelt Thalheim.
