After a tip from the public, the former politician’s body was discovered on the property of a 51-year-old Völser. According to an autopsy, the 75-year-old died due to “massive violence in the head area” – apparently a week earlier. The police did not want to say anything about the murder weapon for tactical reasons, but it was said to have been an axe. The 51-year-old broke his silence before the judge and confessed to the bloody act.

He said he was not satisfied with the property deals he had concluded with the municipality, he said about the motive. It is questionable whether the perpetrator was sane at the time of the crime; he was in the psychiatric hospital yesterday.
