The 32-year-old Kosovan from the Schärding district left a restaurant in Schärding shortly after 3 a.m. At Grafenau Park he noticed a verbal argument between people he didn’t know. The 32-year-old intervened and was injured in the head. Immediately afterwards, he noticed that his head was bleeding. He went independently to the emergency room at Schärding Hospital. There, a doctor found two punctures in the head area, approximately one centimeter deep. When the police arrived, the 32-year-old was approachable, but he was unable to provide any information about the perpetrators. After the initial interview, the injured person was transferred to the Ried/Innkreis hospital.
