Joe Biden referred to these attacks in Gaza and questioned Israel’s bombings, calling them “indiscriminate“. Even being one of the main allies of Israelthe United States had sent him military aid and had blocked international calls for a ceasefire.

The truth is that the new bombings killed about 50 Palestinians in the main cities of Gaza, from the extreme north to the south.

Disagreements between Israel and the United States

Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli prime minister, revealed that he had a conversation with Biden and assured that he had “full support” from the United States in relation to the offensive. However, he also stated that there is a disagreement as to how Gaza will be governed after the conflict.

The truth is that Biden later pointed out that Netanyahu rejects the creation of a Palestinian state, something that other countries agree on because it is a solution to end the war. Regarding Netanyahu’s opinion on this, the US president maintained that he must “change” and make changes to his government.

Israel’s casualties grow

The general and spokesman of the Israeli Army, Daniel Hagari, maintained that 135 of the hostages who were kidnapped by Hamas on October 7 are still held captive in Gaza. Furthermore, they announced that since the war began more than three months ago, 115 soldiers have died in the Gaza Strip.

On Tuesday, 10 soldiers died in the Shujaiya neighborhood. Six of them were ambushed by Hamas after entering a building that seemed abandoned, but were surprised by gunshots and bombs. Additionally, among the casualties were two brigade commanders and several officers.
