The Sageder family from Pfarrkirchen was honored by the Habitat Donau-Ameisberg association for their commitment to a sustainable lifestyle.
Katharina and Martin Sageder run an organic farm in Pfarrkirchen and are constantly developing it further. This is how their house construction, in which they used local materials throughout, was awarded the “Forestry Prize”. They also produce sustainable beef in the “Lomo Alto” project. The sustainability award was presented at the club meeting. Last year, the association campaigned, among other things, to provide information about climate protection and neutrality. Soil protection is also a matter of the heart. A major concern of the club is celebrating New Year’s Eve without fireworks to protect the environment and nature. The call to avoid pyrotechnics is not only made to the communities in the club’s area.
