Even the officials from the state transport department were amazed: the alcohol test result of a 42-year-old driver showed 2.84 per mille on Thursday – around 12 noon. The Slovak, who was driving his tractor-trailer on the Pyhrnautobahn towards Wels, was stopped near Inzersdorf im Kremstal because of his conspicuous driving style. The driver was banned from continuing to drive, his driver’s license was temporarily withdrawn and a security deposit was required, the police said in a broadcast in the afternoon.
