Faster than the police allow: 15-year-old from Ischl races away from the police on a moped at 120 km/h

The officers must have been amazed: a moped turned out to be a real racing machine on Saturday night, with which a 15-year-old from Bad Ischl wanted to escape from the police.

It was dark, it was raining, and the road was wet and slippery when officers on a police patrol on the B158 (Wolfgangsee Straße) noticed the two-wheeler without lights and without a license plate. The police tried to stop the driver – but he managed to prevent it. He turned around in Gschwendt just in front of the police officers and sped away at high speed towards Bad Ischl. The boy reached speeds of up to 120 km/h on his moped.

But Strobl was the final stop. The young speeder was stopped there. He does not have a driver’s license and the light motorcycle is not registered for traffic, the police report. However, an alcohol test was negative.

After the official act, the 15-year-old was picked up by his mother.
