Last weekend in the last home game of the year there was a clear 0:3 (18:25, 18:25, 13:25) against the reigning champions Hypo Tirol. “The guests were clearly the better team and deserved to win,” said UVC Ried coach Manuel Leitgeb. With five wins and seven defeats, the Rieders are in sixth place in the table.
After a short Christmas break, the people of Innviertel want to attack fully in the new year. On January 13th, Ried will be visiting the bottom team in Weiz, and on January 17th the away game against the top team from Hartberg will continue. The first home game of the new year will take place on January 20th in the Raiffeisen Volleydome against VBK Klagenfurt.
