A resident of the Australian town of Dartmoor, Ricky Owens, miraculously survived after a cat saved him from a poisonous tiger snake lurking among shopping bags. This was announced by the Australian branch of ABC News.
“I was not at home for a couple of hours. When I returned, I noticed that my old cat, Gordon, pounded on one of the bags, hissed and scratched, and then jumped, ”- said Owens about the incident on November 26.
The man casually looked at what could alarm the cat, did not notice anything and went to the bar. When he returned, the cat was still behaving strangely: he again scratched at the shopping bags that stood next to the refrigerator. When Owens lifted the packages, the cat, the snake and the man himself jumped in surprise. It turned out that the snake was hiding under the refrigerator.
“All I had was about six inches of a snake (15 cm) sticking out from under the refrigerator, and I did not know which end was the poisonous mouth and which was the tail,” the owner of the cat shared.
As a result, the man pulled out the snake and threw it over the fence. Jokingly, he said that now he will be more attentive to the strange behavior of the cat Gordon.
“Just imagine if it were a small child who wants to get into shopping bags and ask:“ What is this thing? ” Anything can happen, you need to be careful, ”concluded Owens.
In Irkutsk, the domestic cat Vaska did not let the bear go to his owners, who had a picnic in the forest. He bravely stood between the wild beast and the people, arching his back. The fluffy hero got into the video.
