One of the most beautiful restaurants in Wels becomes available: After the previous Fortino operator and award-winning chef Christoph Parzer announced that he was moving to “Zum Goldenen Hirschen” in Gmunden, owner Fritz Eiber is looking for a successor. “I definitely want to have a restaurant there again,” says the Molto Luce boss. The search is already underway, but there are no serious discussions yet. The Fortino opens for the last time on New Year’s Eve.

Eiber is open about the culinary direction in which it should go: “I would prefer an Italian restaurant again, but something else is definitely possible.” It doesn’t have to be a gourmet restaurant again. The restaurant and the entire furnishings can be leased: “It’s all very nice. There are actually no investment costs for a tenant, apart from crockery and cutlery. Otherwise everything is there,” says Eiber.
