The company attaches great importance to supporting people from the region. This year the company decided to support a woman from Braunau with special therapy to regain her vision.

The mother of a colleague from the “HAI family” in Ranshofen suffered severe optic nerve damage in 2022, as a result of which she almost completely lost her vision. An independent everyday life was no longer possible due to the limited eyesight. During the course of the research it turned out that the only promising form of therapy was offered in a German private clinic. HAI decided to support the financing of the special therapy in Magdeburg, Germany, with 4,000 euros.

The therapy in the special clinic was successful. The optic nerve was able to be regenerated to such an extent that the vision needed to live independently and cope with everyday tasks was largely restored. “If a member of the HAI family needs support, it is clear to us that we will stand together and help. We are very pleased with the success of the therapy and can imagine the relief the family will feel,” says HAI managing director Rob van Gils.
