Female drivers collided at an intersection in the Innviertel

On Thursday at 12.30 p.m., a 45-year-old from the Ried district drove her car on the L1145 in the direction of St. Marienkirchen near Schärding. She had her toddler on board – appropriately secured, the police report. At the same time, a 37-year-old from Schärding was driving her car in the opposite direction. She also had her child with her, also properly secured, the police emphasize.

When the 45-year-old woman wanted to turn left towards Andorf, a collision occurred. As a result, the 37-year-old’s vehicle came to a stop in a meadow. The 45-year-old woman’s car was thrown into a nearby bus.

The two drivers in the accident and their children were given first aid by the rescue team and taken to hospital for evaluation.
