President Luis Lacalle Pou formally appointed Rodrigo Ferres as Secretary of the Presidency, replacing Alvaro Delgado, who resigned to dedicate himself to the campaign as a pre-candidate for the National Party (PN) for elections 2024.

Regarding the profile of the new leaders, it is worth highlighting that Ferres is a lawyer specialized in administrative law, having graduated as Doctor in Law from the Catholic University of Uruguay, Master in Administrative Law from the University of Navarra and professor of Administrative Law at the UCU.
