According to initial information, two people were seriously injured in the collision between two vehicles at 6 p.m. They were trapped in their vehicles and had to be freed by the Linz professional fire department and the Puchenau volunteer fire department.
The emergency services were on site with several vehicles and an emergency doctor to provide immediate care to the injured. The police were also on duty to clarify the cause of the accident and to divert traffic over a large area during the operation.

Tragically, a dog was also fatally injured in the accident. The exact cause of the accident is being investigated.
