A 26-year-old Romanian from the Linz-Land district worked as a delivery driver in a Linz company from August to December 2023. He was responsible for the Urfahr area. He is said to have repeatedly failed to deliver packages properly.
According to police, he took expensive goods worth more than 90 euros out of the packaging and replaced them with cheaper items. The recipients confirmed receipt of the goods with a password and only then noticed the missing or incorrect shipments.
85 packages not delivered correctly
According to the current status of the police investigation, there are a total of 85 packages that the 20-year-old is said to have manipulated. It’s about damage in the almost five-figure euro range.
During a vehicle search, high-priced goods were found and seized. During questioning, the young man confessed. It is shown multiple times.
