The man from Linz (55) was on his way to Pfarrplatz around 6:20 a.m. He was drawn into a conversation by a man he didn’t know. Shortly afterwards he was pushed from behind and his money bag was stolen from his right back trouser pocket. The perpetrator then fled towards Pfarrgasse. A search that was immediately launched was negative.
The perpetrator is said to be between 25 and 30 years old and 1.75 to 1.80 meters tall. He was wearing a blue and white hooded jacket. The Landhaus police station is asking for information (telephone number: 059133/4586).
